Google has denied rumors that the Pixel 5A will be released

Pixel 5A

Rumors about Google’s Pixel 5a have been circulating for some time, and it has recently been suggested that Google may unveil its budget smartphone in June. However, yesterday, a tweet from John Prosser, a well-known whistleblower, became very newsworthy and controversial. He announced in his tweet that the supply of 5 pixels has been canceled due to lack of chips! Google, of course, denied the news, today.

Google Pixel 5A has not been canceled

Just hours after the rumor of the Pixel 5A was canceled, Google was forced to respond to the rumors. The company issued an official statement in this regard, and a Google representative emphasized:

Pixel 5A 5G cannot be canceled. The phone will be available later this year in the US and Japan and will be introduced according to the same schedule as last year.

The interesting thing is that Prosser did not mention in his tweet that the Pixel 5A will be canceled or will have limited supply in all markets. On the other hand, Google has confirmed the launch of its new affordable phone only in the United States and Japan, which can be disappointing for many die-hard fans of the Pixel series.

Specifications and design of 5E pixels

From what we have learned so far about the Pixel 5A, it looks like it will be very similar to last year’s Pixel 4A 5G model. The design style is the same, and on the front of the body is a 6.2-inch hollow display with an old panel and full HD Plus resolution. On the back, there will be a dual square camera system with a fingerprint sensor. The device is expected to be charged via a USB Type-C port and has a 3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom.

Now, there is no word on the specifications of the camera, and it is not clear whether we will see the same camera as last year or whether there have been any changes in this area. In addition, there is currently no information on the processing chip used in the 5A pixel. However, with the release of the 5nm Snapdragon 780G chip, it is possible that both the Pixel 5A Five G and the Pixel 6 will use this mid-range and economical processor. Not bad to know, last year, a 4-pixel with Snapdragon 765G mid-range chip was released.
